Stamped Concrete:
- We always use 100% integral color for all stamped concrete jobs
- The color is added to the concrete truck for each project and with the color the owner selected
- Color is added at a rate of one bag per yard of concrete
- Important note on the color is we only use color from Chicago, Ill from Butterfield Concrete
- Chemically their color bonds to the portland and does not fade 3 shades or so like local vendors; we use it to help our customer maintain the color they chose
- With our stamping process we poured the colored concrete as normal and then fresno to prove nice top surface ready for stamping
- We use typically 3 releases which is the powder that we put on top of the concrete to both antique the concrete with color and allow a release material for the stamps to come off the concrete correctly
- When working with customers we find out a general release color they want and pick a lighter and darker accent color. So we apply at least three releases to provide a natural coloring process making it look natural
- With the stamping process you will see us texture all perimeter areas with skins to provide 100% texture, even on the edges
- We work hard to stamp the area uniformly, and keep a precise eye open for quality to make sure our stamped worked is always great
- Once stamped we will saw cut, wash, and seal to provide a beautiful colored stamped concrete work.
- The sealer we use is designed for Nebraska to help with the extreme temps and moisture conditions.
